Broke into the 70's…

In May, I quit drinking Dr Pepper, after realizing that, as a runner, I am not really pushing myself, at all.  I had my last Dr Pepper on May 6th.  My top weight at that time, was 201 lbs.  It was somewhat horrifying.

Today, after a long run weekend and a four mile morning, I weighed in at 179.  It’s a pretty big deal for me.  I still have a ways to go (almost all stomach), but I’m down 20 pounds.  I need to lose at least another 10, but possibly another 20, depending on how I look and feel.

Very happy about my results, so far.
